/// PARALLEL [installazione interattiva A/V]  is an interactive audiovisual installation in between performance and experience. It peels back the layers of existence to reveal the delicate balance between solitude and connection through different textures of light and sound. Parallel invites participants to engage by their movements, transforming discrete components into a living entity resonating with and responding to human interaction. We collected sound from moments of solitude, modulated it digitally based on participants' movements in real-time and visualised it with projection mapping and lights. Inspired by artists' migration experiences, it reflects themes of cultural integration and empathy, fostering social cohesion and mutual understanding. As we explore the interplay of light and sound, we redefine the boundaries of perception, casting light upon the depths of our shared experiences and emphasising the paradoxical beauty of interconnectedness.
Daphne Chu is a London-based new media artist and lighting designer specializing in interactive installations, spatial experiences, audiovisual arts, and live performances. She has exhibited her personal artworks and participated in over 200 lighting productions in 50+ cities worldwide, including MGM Grand Garden Arena (Las Vegas), The O2 Arena (London), and AccorHotels Arena (Paris), Ars Electronica Festival(Linz), the London Festival of Architecture, Artsect Gallery(London), Ugly Duck Gallery(London), and more. Teng Xue is a multidisciplinary artist who delves into architecture, virtual reality, installation art, film, and experiential design. As a former researcher at the Interactive Architecture Lab and co-founder of Elixirt Studio, Teng’s work is informed by his background in architecture, sociology, and interaction design. His unique perspective on queer culture and body movement brings depth to his art, exhibited at international festivals like Beijing Design Week and Ars Electronica.

/// ANIMAL_FARM [acusmatica] During the composition of animal_farm, I had the desire to explore time scales still non-existent in my music by manipulating preparatory montages and derivations thereof in increasing density in order to transform and develop the materials of the piece. The latter also reveals the imperfection of human gestures through the incorporation of MIDI performances during the editing phase. The esotericism of his approach sows ruptures and surprises, like so many false leads in his labyrinthism. Composed in a tense, anxious context, animal_farm seems to want to ask the simplest questions possible, without however managing to answer them completely.
Alexis Blais is an electroacoustic music composer based in Montreal. Graduated from the Conservatory of music of Montreal in the class of Louis Dufort, he is currently pursuing his master's degree in composition and sound creation at the University of Montreal with Ana Dall'Ara-Majek. His research focuses on the continuum uniting the language of instrumental and electroacoustic music. Classical pianist by training, his acousmatic works are part of a plastic and textural research of concrete materials against a background of modal harmonies. Alexis Blais also works in theater and dance, in addition to teaching sound design at the National Circus School in Montreal and at Collège Jean-de-Brébeuf. His piece SKAND is finalist of the 2023 Luigi Russolo award. His works have been performed in England, Europe, Brazil, Japan and Canada.

/// BOATNOA [live A/V performance] is a live A/V piece with real-time audio reactive visuals. As a composition, it maintains a general structure, while also allowing for improvised sections. Visuals react to sound, creating a space that invites the audience to reflect on the concept of ‘a modern city’, and what it means to inhabit it. Audio and image are used to rethink the city (referencing its physicality, its people) and the digitality inadvertently present in it. On one hand, the evident references of the city are created from material taken from the city itself: images, videos, soundmarks and soundscapes are components that describe its sensory characteristics. On the other hand, the methods used to gather this material speak of the ubiquitous digital activities: photogrammetry, recordings, digital photography, and sound and image manipulation. The output of this work aims to offer to its public a place and time for reflection, as the audience faces a condensed version of their urban living and different angles of it.
Dotzerosix (.06) is a creative duo formed by Tania Cortés Becerra and Oscar Bahamonde, Ecuadorian artists trained in music, sound, music production and multimedia. This duo generates audiovisual experiences based on the exploration of diverse tools and perspectives. They also build some of their gear and program their work to sculpt their minimalist and glitch aesthetic. Their main languages are sound, visual art, and music. DZ6 has created audiovisual installations and multimedia performances for festivals like , Hausmann 9.0 (2019, Ecuador), Never Knows Better Exhibition (2020, USA), Festival Expresiones Contemporáneas (2021, Mexico), LaTam Festival (2021, France), Créartup Festival (2021, France), Traces of The Future - International Exhibition (2021, Poland), Ciudad Glitch (2023, Spain), Sound No Sound (2023, Spain), JIM (2023, France), VOLUMENS (2023, Spain), ZIMMT (2023, Germany).

/// REFRACTIVE INDEX [live A/V performance] is an audiovisual live performance by MONOCOLOR. The entirely generative images and sounds of the piece create an audiovisual experience that is in a state of constant flux. Swarms of points form unstable shapes that oscillate between complex, architectural structures and natural, organic patterns. Existing on the edge between the natural and the synthesized, both in sound and in image, the work aims to convey a sense of transience and fragility.
MONOCOLOR, alias Marian Essl, is a Vienna based audiovisual artist. He explores the interrelations between sound and image in both performance-based and installation-based works. His fully generative, algorithmically created imagery oscillates between fluid, organic textures and rigid structures. He focuses on the relation between sound, image, light and space, aiming to create highly immersive audiovisual universes. His work has been shown in various contexts around the world. In 2020, he was awarded the Japan Media Arts Festival New Face Award for his audiovisual fulldome performance Latent Space that was created during a residency at the Société des arts technologiques (SAT) in Montréal. In spring of 2024, he opened a large-scale solo exhibition titled SCREEN—SPACE in Krems, Austria.
