Call for Works 2025

LOXOS~ keeps the focus on electroacoustic culture alive, providing an important opportunity for composers and artists working in the field of digital arts through its annual call. Each year, MA/IN accepts artistic proposals through an OPEN CALL, aiming to select works for inclusion in the 2025 edition of the festival.

This year, the festival has two active collaborations with the CRM (Centro di Ricerche Musicali) in Rome and TempoReale (production center - Florence), which will include selected acousmatic and audiovisual works in their programs during:
1. Festival "Artescienza": July 2025, Rome [Acousmatic / Audiovisual]
2. Festival Tempo Reale: September-December 2025, Florence [Acousmatic]

The ninth edition of the MA/IN will take place in:
• Castrignano De' Greci + Lecce | Sept. 25>29 // 2025
• Matera + Potenza | Oct. 1>5 // 2025

It is possible to submit works (1 submission per author) in the following categories:

Acousmatic Music ~ fixed media music. Multichannel compositions are accepted.
Mixed Media Music ~ compositions for instruments and electronics, live or fixed media.
AudioVisual ~ pre-recorded audiovisual works.
Live Performance ~ works that include electronics and other elements, performed live.
Sound and Media Art ~ sound and multimedia installations

To participate, it is necessary to become a member of the non-profit association LOXOSconcept by making a donation of €20 via the PayPal donation button available on the website and on the submission form (preferred) or via bank transfer to:
